Rainbow Book Club
Do you like LGBTQIA+ books? Come talk about it! The Rainbow Book Club meets monthly at the Elmvale Library to socialize and discuss the LGBTQIA+ books of the month. This group has a large age range and generally reads adult fiction. The last Tuesdays monthly, 6pm-8pm at Elmvale branch. No registration required for this book club. Book schedule: April: Gideon the 9th by Tamsyn Muir or Glitterball by Alexis Hall. May: How to be Ace by Rebecca Burgess or Call Me By Your Name by Andre Aciman. June: The Fire Never Goes by ND Stevenson or We Are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson.
Magic Card Club
Ages 9-13 join us for fun filled mornings learning how to play magic cards and build a deck! Saturdays in April, May and June at 10:30am at Midhurst Branch. Cost: Free. No registration required for this drop-in program
Holiday Closure
Please note all branches of Springwater Public Library will be closed Friday April 18 (Good Friday). We will be open to regular hours on Saturday April 19 and closed Monday April 21 (Easter Monday). Regular branch hours resume on Tuesday April 22.
DIY Water Bottle Decal Tween/Teen
Have an old water bottle? Spruce it up at the library using our Cricut machine. Create your own personalized decal! Please bring your own water bottle, all other supplies will be provided. Tuesday April 22, 5pm at Elmvale Branch. Cost: FREE.
Cricut Sublimation Earrings
Tweens/Teens ages 9+ are welcome to design and create your very own earrings with our new sublimation printer! Thursday May 22, 5pm at Midhurst Branch. Cost: $2 per pair of earrings.
Comics Plus Online
Want to read your Archie comics online? We’ve got it! In addition to comics such as Peanuts, For Better or For Worse you can access an entire online database of comics. Parents please note, there are no age related search parameters in this app. All ages content is accessible to users when using the search tool. New ways to volunteer!
To the left of this page you may notice a brand NEW tab titled, “Volunteer Info“. Teens can now write book reviews and earn volunteer hours (up to 20 hours)! If interested, check out the Volunteer Info tab or call the library and chat with us anytime.
NO FINES!
After almost two years of not charging fines for late materials, Springwater Township Public Library is making the change permanent. There will be no late fees for materials returned past the due date. Fees will still be charged for material that is lost or damaged. Previously accrued late fees have been deleted from library accounts!
Library App: How to Guide
Staff member Katie is happy to show you around our new (and easy to use!) Library app! You never have to worry about having your library card on hand in the library, you can easily place holds, remove holds, manage your account and your children’s accounts all on this great new app!
